If "Gossip Girl" and "The White Lotus" had a baby, it would be "Palm Royale." Set in 1969 in Palm Beach, the series follows Kristen Wiig as Maxime, a socialite on a fake-it-till-you-make-it journey into high society, flanked by A-listers like Laura Dern, Allison Janney, and comedy legend Carole Burnett. And, as if I wasn’t excited enough about the sure-to-be whodunit story, "Big Little Lies" costume designer Alix Friedberg is styling the series.
